The iPhone version of DDR was designed to feature lots of visual effects and take advantage of the iPhone's unique hardware, such as the touch screen and accelerometer. I served as lead designer, writing up the initial design doc as well as designing and creating the user interface here. The background was created by artists Stephanie Kao and art director Louise Smith.
